So much happened since I ORD, I thought I was happy. It seems like I should be satisfied with life but somehow it just isn't what it appears to be. Constantly trying to push myself towards a better life, thinking that it would make me happy. Yet apparently life doesn't work that way, maybe it is the simplest of things that I'm looking for. I used to be truly happy but back then I just didn't think that way.

In life, sometimes forward isn't the only direction to go. I may just be happier staying in the past. Not sure all that I'm doing right now is just to numb myself or to actually prove something. Regrets... haiz.

What is happiness? I know what it means to me but somehow I just can't seem to get anywhere near it. There are times when I just wish you were still around. Though it has already been a year but some memories I remember it like it was just yesterday. At the end of the day in life, what is the use of all the fame and glory if there is no one that you can share it with.

Considering that there's no turning back when we are out in society, all that I can do now is try to go down a path that I think I will be happy.

I must say BBH is really a fantastic agency. I especially LOVE all the events and shit... haha or maybe I'm just "sua gu". Yesterday night at the Creative Circle Awards, I saw some of kinetic, kilo and make studios's work. Though it's not entirely new but it's absolutely brilliant. The level of interactivity I would not have believed could be achieved locally in the past. Again, I might be "sua gu" but hopefully in the future could have a chance to work with them.

Was just listening to Jay Chou's new song on youtube and just feel like posting thoughts that came from nowhere.

If you haven't notice that I'll been doing a lot philosophy shit, my thinking has changed a lot compared to what I have been a year ago. And in another year, I might be flying thousands of miles to New York alone... Although it has been seen as a good experience but it's going to be hard. But precisely because it is hard that's why I'm going over, I just feel like setting up on own away from everyone I know and everything I own. Somehow it's hard to put my thoughts into word but I want to thank two person who I was close to but don't really talk to anymore now.

It has been 2 months since I last updated... probably I'll revamp this site purely for philosophy. Anyway I'm currently starting to write a book on philosophy which I may or may not finish. A lot of thoughts have been running through my head, so much so that it has come to a point where I cannot not put it somewhere.

In my philosophy there are a few fundamental concepts which I shall explain briefly:
- Perspectivity and Relativity
- Cycle and Balances of Natural Occurances

Perspectivity and Relativity
At the same time that each concept can be described on its own, it actually forms together as a whole ideology. In my view, life is a mere existence. Why would I say that? Rather than viewing life as an entity where it is viewed in the perspective of an individual, life is actually an event. It is an event where things happen. There isn't a definition of good or bad since an event is just a happening which it won't be enough to cover. Thus I have a concept that everyone's life began as a pool of still water, every single event no matter how big or small that happened causes a ripple. As time passes, so do the ripples in your pool. Each event affects your decisions that you will make in the future. If you get what I mean then think about it, the moment since you were born, your life is more or less predestined. Events that will occur in your life would more or less be roughly what it will be unless a spectacular effort is made to change it.

Ok till now i realise i haven't elaborate much on my basic concepts since there really isn't much space to talk about it... if I go on too late probably most would have left after reading right about to this point. haha. So in simple point form, I provide some food for thought:

Perspectivity:
How long is the lifespan of a dog compared to a human? Perhaps your answer would be human would live much longer and such. Well... it's not wrong but it isn't right. It is just like how dogs would think of us... Woah! this dude must be god... he's big, he lives longer than me, he could get food out of nowhere. Of course a dog probably wont think like that since they wont have a concept of god or time.

Another ideology would be relative to science, for anyone who knows about the laws of special relativity should know that spacetime is relative to mass. For those that don't, space and time are formed as a unity. Without time, there wont be space and vice versa. Example: I could tell u to meet at 4:30 or I could tell u to meet in town but without both information, we would never be able to meet each.... if you get my drift. Thus... according to Eistein's law spacetime is warped with respect to gravity(mass), although if mainly affects objects of relatively significant amounts of mass but how would you know that the dog is in fact not living the same amount of time in their perspective?

Relativity:
Emotion are one of the reasons there is meaning to life. Without emotions, basically there is nothing to life. Life is just a beginning of an existence with an eventual destination of death: a cease of existence. There basically isn't much meaning to life. If you look at evolution, life is a process of survival and reproduction. Ok back to my point...

What is happiness? It is a mere state of mind that when contrast to the feeling you were having previously. Without other negative emotions like dissappointment, sadness etc. , in fact there won't be happiness. Not that you won't feel happy but there will be nothing for you to compare to for you to know that you are happy. Which in fact, it will makes thing worst such that only negative feelings exist for such a person cause there won't be anything better than he would be able to feel.

It works the same no matter what the subject is whether it is economics, ecology, astrological occurance etc. If I go on, it would be what I will elaborate on the cycle and balance of natural occurances. So I shall stop here for relativity.

Cycle and Balances of Natural Occurances:
This concept is actually very near the idea of what the buddhism have of cause and effect. If you have seen my previous post on this, I'm not sure if I have presented this enough but this is extremely interesting to me. Rather than explaining I'll list out:

1. Atoms - Electrons, Proton, Neutron
2. Chemistry - Forgot whether is it Newton's law but this universal law states that for every reaction there is an equal inverse reaction. The same goes for energy and matter which the famous E=MC2 describe.
3. Sins and retribution - Perhaps some feel that current day legistative system would be enough for judging the evil deeds of people (which I disagree). But checks and balances in the social system of current society would eventually breaks a person that is evil deep inside. He probably won't be happy much throughout his life and achieve much of life's satisfaction. That is the balance that Buddhism meant (if I din't get it wrong).

I can't possibly state everything out but if you get the general idea then you should be able to understand.

For skeptics thinking that what would a 21 year old know about philosophy and life. Well... would a 80 year old would know anything about philosophy or life? To me, age doesn't matter in any case.

Guess I probably need a year or two if I were to finish this book, I need more research on various aspects of knowledge to have a more retrospective view thus probably need more time to update on something new. For those interested can give my some comment or such, it could give me a different view on what I have missed out. And for an publisher that happens to chance by... give me a call. lol. Ok, I'm in the momentum so I shall update some stuff. Not sure what to term it as but anyway here it goes...

Just finished watching Stop-Loss and was inspired to rethink some reflections. In the movie, there was this scene where U.S troops were chasing Iraq insurgent forces. Shootings started and at the end of it all, some of the soldiers died, the "terrorists" got killed along with their families.

What grudges is there that existed such that killings occur? Would it happen that in another situation if they met, they could actually sit down and have a drink. It's hard for me to currently put my thoughts into words so I shall slowly elaborate starting with the milgram experiment.

The milgram experiment was a series of social psychology experiments which measured the willingness of participants to obey an authority figure who instructed them to perform acts that conflicted with their personal conscience. The results were that ordinary people simply doing their jobs, and without any particular hostility on their part, can become agents in a terrible destructive process. Moreover, even when the destructive effects of their work become patently clear, and they are asked to carry out actions incompatible with fundamental standards of morality, relatively few people have the resources needed to resist authority.

I want to highlight this as there was a time where I believe in whatever I was taught. It has to be correct right? This is how modern society is based on. Therefore even when presented with the truth, it might be deem heresy or simply just another conspiracy theory. When I slowly discovered the truth, I began obsessed with how the society actually works. I began reading and searching and the more I discovered I realized that loose ends of my queries began to tie. I shall go back to my original topic first.

I shall explain of how I perceive of the workings of the United States. All discussions are based on personal opinion. While masses of those who are blaming President George Bush for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, it isn't him alone who is the start of the war. I find it impossible and too overwhelming to actually to type it out so I'll list it out instead.
( *If in doubt, do some research. Please do not just deem this as conspiracy. What I am discussing is only very very brief. Its main intent is to show express my ideology. Much more could be found in various mediums, there is extent materials out there to support my concept. Thus feel free to tell me if I'm wrong. )

1. The United States government owed a 9.5 trillion debt to the US federal reserve. For most who do not understand, US currency is not printed by the government. It is printed by private bankers who run the federal reserve loaning out the printed money to the government at interest. Yes... at interest. The federal reserve act established after the civil war allows this. Political reasons behind are too much to explain right now. But of course then again the endless war the America was involved in also contributed to the debt.

2. Why is the United States keep getting itself engaged in war when the national debt is already so much? The main reason is because it fuels production and it improves economy which is also good for the banking, oil and energy companies. Check out the history of the J. P. Morgan and John D. Rockefeller families, the real kingmakers of the current situation. For those who have watched Prison Break, it ain't that far-fetched ain't it (The Company). Too much of info out there, not really a need for me to say.

3. The drug trade, oil monopoly and gold standard system maybe I'll explain in detail next time.

4. The same goes for the USA Patriot Act. There's too much details in itself and the downfall of democracy.

5. Does it even involve us? United States have over 2.5 million troops in 737 military bases across more than 150 countries. It is one of the main financial centers. Look at the amount of countries it has invaded. Weapons of mass destruction that were not found and a sketchy tape of CIA trained Osama Bin Laden were the determining factors to wage a war. I just you guys will be smart enough to know what I'm trying to say here. Remember history are always written by the winners.

I know all these are gonna seem far-fetched to most people. For a moment, step aside from all the teachings and belief that you had and think logical whether if it is possible. It is saddening to see majority of the people not caring about what is happening until it is too late. The truth will set you free. Well... that's all for now.

"Knowledge is power. The power of knowledge exist for those who knows how to use it when the opportunity presents itself."

For quite some time, I have been reading extensively. The area of studies I have covered includes economic, philosophy, political sciences, sociology, law, astrology, religion, history, medical sciences, sciences, propaganda, evolution & etc.

Though I'm not a master of any of these subjects but I have discovered an idea that ties everything together. It would be hard for me to explain it right here and now as I am currently researching on various facts on the relevant subject areas. Really hope the time will come when I can clearly present my findings. One might ask what's so special since I ain't a master of any of these subjects but the one thing that I realize is that few have ventured on all aspect of life to unite the "ONE" theory of everything. I will try to explain it... please be patient with me.

The basis of my discovery is somehow along the line like for every force present, there would be an equivalent counter-force to balance itself out in nature.If you just sit down and think, every matter in this universe exist based on a cycle.

In regards to astrology, the formation of zodiac according to the position of planetary system is more than mere coincidence. Ancient civilization like the Mayans, the Egyptian, the Babylons, the Chinese and the Westerns all have been involved in it for a cause. Like how planets revolve around the sun due to the attraction of gravity and yet not crash due to the rate of exponential expansion of the universe... maybe elaborate in the future if there's a chance.

In regards to sciences, the equations of mathematical formula or theoretical formula always balanced up. This is quite wide a topic to cover on so I'll just be brief. For example in Issac Newton's three law of motion, the net acceleration of an object and the net forces acting upon it are always equal. Damn...can't really think of a good example right now...

In regards to ecology, with the on-goings of pollution, global warming and such, the time will come when mass extinction event will come. Killing most of the life on the planet and with time, organism will learn to adapt and life will flourish again. Of course, this is just a rough explanation. Think about water cycle, photosynthesis of plant & food chain etc. All of these are just around us, the only determining factor is whether can we see it.

Ok, I know by now some will say that it is God who created all these and not evolution and all these other whatsoever. I don't even want to go on to this topic cause I will have to delve into the history of Egyptian culture, the formation of Christianity during the era of the roman empire and sociology. I clarify first that I have no objections to any religion.

Nevertheless, all these are just a self-note to myself. Maybe in 10 years time, hopefully I will be able to publish a book on these observations.

To put it shortly, in life nothing stays the same. Only constant adaptation is the way to continuously stay ahead in this society.

While in Shanghai, I saw the wide poverty gap that exists in the metropolitan city. It is quite saddening to see rich taitais buying branded bags from Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel etc. while there's a family of five begging outside knowing that whatever that they spend would last their entire family for god knows how long. Everyone is just passing by them like they don't even exist. This is somehow an inevitable fact.

It might sound cruel and hardhearted but justice and equality just doesn't exist in this society. Some may just think I'm whacked but this is the reality of life that majority have chose to ignore. Fate is in your own hands like whoever used to say.

I guess I'm going too far and serious for a blog post, maybe next time I would blabber about economics or pseudoscience which I have got myself interested recently... well in any case have a nice day. =D

A moment ago, Someone just ask me why did I tag my stuff on the streets... is it just to show off an identity? Right then I'm somehow stumped and couldn't give a reason. But after some thought, I know how to answer it now. Street art is an approach of showing off an idea that is really not part of mainstream thinking, it is not just the artwork itself but the entire process from conceptualizing to execution to the ideology behind. Hm... it might seem like bull crap to people who don't understand but it is already becoming an addiction to me.

Although right now there isn't any meaning to my works rather than just identity but I certain will be aiming something remarkable and not be prosecuted for it. Haha.

If you have thought about why there are protest around the world regarding Iraq war or hating bush or any other Palestinian bullshit, why aren't we caring? Is it really that those people have nothing to do but to go on protest and risk getting arrested and dunked with smoke grenade etc? Think about it, if it interest you look up on it. There's something that I have been wanting to voice out quite sometime ago. However I presume that at the end of this, most of those who care to finish this would just forget about this when they wake up tommorrow.

There is the common perseption that what we see on News Network ( CNN, BBC, FOX, etc. ) are nothing but the truth and the general public just take any information that they are provided. You have absolutely no idea of how misleaded and brainwash you have been.

Few years back, I stumbled online on a website regarding the conspiracy of 9-11. Right now, there will be those who might go "oh... not another conspiracy theory", Please let me finish what I started. I will mention some brief details on the main points.

The Twin Towers
1. Why were there no black boxes found in the debri of the twin tower but yet they managed to get hold of the passport of one of the terrorist?
2. Both Towers burn for less than 2 hours at max and crumble down at the speed of freefall while there had been plane crashing into tower else where in the world burning much longer and still remaining intact?
3. The Towers are the 1st steel building EVER to crumble in the event of fire.
4. How did the 2 tallest towers fall like a controlled demolition without damaging any of the buildings nearby.

The Pentagon
1. Search online for the debri by Flight 77 created at the pentagon with those created by other aircrafts. See for yourself.
2. Why is there no videos showing the plane crashing into the side of the pentagon? the only footage available was a 5 frame shot that shows no any sign of an airplane.

1. Why would Osama Bin Laden admit to bombing the Twin towers? If he can plan a terrorist act to this kind of precision, do you really think he wont know what are the consequences that would result?
2. Where are all the military personnal during the attack on the Twin Towers? Is there no air defense guarding the main economic structures of the mighty military country which have technology of cruise missles, e-bomb, nuclear bombs, etc.
3. Shouldn't the pentagon be at least part of the restricted air space? Do you see planes just flying above military base or presidential buildings?

I'm not trying to make people revolt or go against the U.S government and such. I just want to prove a point and the point is that how much does people know about what is happening in the world anymore. Do anyone still know the real truth? Look at your history textbook, imagine what would your history textbook be like now if hilter realised his dream. The truth is the victorious writes history. There is plenty of evidences that government are suppressing truth, look at japan and north korea. Look again at Israel and the Palestinian, are you still going to believe everything they want you to believe?

The reality of this society is this, the truth doesn't matter anymore. What the majority think beats whatever truth there is out there, if you dont think like others you will be deem heterodox. Think again... have you been proven wrong by others even though you are right? Thats how it is. So then who are the majorities? Isn't it the news network that spreads this message out? One might ask how come there is no one coming out to spread this message? Is it even possible with the lockdown of all media sources except other than the internet? Someone brought up an interesting point why didnt the US government just lockdown on the internet as well. Well... they did, but eventually did it really matter? They got what they wanted, the afghanistan regime is now under US control. They could have access to the oil resources that they so desperately needed to fuel their military. At the end of the day, history textbook would be written the way they wanted it to be. It really doesn't matter to them because it is just a matter or time before the truth would be buried with time.

By then, it won't matter anymore.

After almost 1 month, I finally find some time to reupdate. So with roughly one update per month, I doubt there is anyone even coming here at all. Well... I dont mind if nobody comes. Toys on Riot: my vinyls from myplasticheart arrived all the way across half the globe after 10+ so days. After leaving my qees and trexis on the shelf collecting dust for more than half a year, I finally decided to get my butt working and do something about it. Along with my new 10" trexi and vimobot, I shall bring these toys to life. I always thought that Mad*L and Dunny blanks existed, only to be told by MPH that they dont exist : Dammit! Anyway vinyls... here I come.

After spending few weeks trying to come up with a concept and identity for ahn, at last i managed to came up with something that could satisfy myself. I spent a lot of time back and forth trying plenty of different designs, typography, concepts and styles wasting much time achieving nothing. Maybe cause i wanted everything to be perfect, I kept finding faults and mistakes with my every design i came up with. I really hope i would look back in 3 months time and think why the hell did i choose this... as for now, enjoy and take it easy on my design. :)

I think i better explain my concept for this logo, i don't want my past weeks of hard thought to go to waste with people thinking its just another logo design. The concept of AHN is all about the finger that does the designing of work etc. ( read the 1st post and you'll know ) I decided to use solid black thick lines to give my logo a 'shoutout' impression. The visual representation is that of a finger + mouse using 2 separate lines forming the image. Actually it's quite hard to explain exactly, just hope you guys get the idea. Hm... that's about it i guess. Peace out.

Finally, i finished and sent off my 5 artworks for the graniph design comp to japan. Haven't been really doing any designs since 'my forced slavery for the country', I am rather satisfied with my new works. Don't really feel like typing comments for each of my works, I'll just let them speak for itself

Somehow i have the urge to set up a design firm - AHN studio - after i regain my freedom. Although I know that it doesn't have much chance of staying on the surface of the planet for long, it's kinda like a dream goal for me or maybe i'm just bored with life now. haha.

Talking about setting up a firm, I be having my own registered company soon with three friends. When the plans are finalised then maybe I'll announced it again.

Hey all, i have just decided to transfer my portfolio website from www.rebelvisualground.com to this current site. Since the terms of the domain is gonna expire, i dont think it's worth paying money for a website that does not even clock maybe say 200 hits in a month. I'll just use blogger to do the job of promoting my work and maybe spread my philosophy on life. LOL...

The concept of the name of my blogspot comes from the fact that we designers primarily 70% of the time uses our right index finger to click on the move or type the keyboard. So if you like my work, pretty much of the credit goes to that little finger. I call it Neuveville, so all hail Neuveville. I somehow believe that little bastard is french thus the name, dont ask me why cause i dont know.

Trexi Designs for Play Magazine
One of my most satisfied works i have done so far, the designs was published in a past issue of Play Magazine. I got a Motorola Trexi as the reward for being the top 20 designs internationally. Personally i think it is quite a rip-off, they must have earned frikin a lot just from the sale of the blank trexi to qualify for the competition. Well nevertheless i am happy i won.... :)

I really liked the pacing of this project when i intern at yolk. I had plenty of time to research and did some things that i really liked experimenting with flash. Although i cant complete the entire project before my internship finish, i can proudly say i did the interactive system from scratch all by myself. Damn... i'm proud of myself. haha. A very unmemorable freelance project that i did however i learnt a very important lesson in doing freelance. Always accept deposit before you do any project cause there are a lot of poor fuckers that just wanna ripped you off thinking you dont know shit. Ok forget it... i like the logo. End of story.
